You’ve probably already seen it all over the internet, but I hate having minor plot points spoiled for me, so I make an effort not to do that for others.
If you’ve seen Multiverse of Madness, you’ll recall that John Krasinski debuted as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic. Him being spaghetti strained is more or less inconsequential, because there are multiple versions of him throughout the multiverse. I can’t wait to see who they cast for Susan, Johnny, and Ben. I just hope they don’t re-tell their origin story…. again. So without further ado, here are my fan castings for the FF family.
Clearly, Emily Blunt has to be Susan Storm. It seems only right. I can’t think of anyone more fit for the role in terms of acting chops and (hopefully) on screen chemistry with her husband and co-star (John Krasinski, for those of you living under a rock).
This next one seems a bit out there, as I only saw it suggested for the first time yesterday, but I can’t get it out of my head. Zac Efron as Johnny Storm. He’s got the on screen charisma in most of the roles I’ve seen him in.
Next, while I think Michael Chiklis was a great choice for Ben Grimm, I think there are better choices now. Jury is still on the fence with this one, as I’m about 50/50 for both Ron Perlman and Dean Norris. I think either of them would be a credit to the character.
Lastly, who’s going to play Victor Von Doom? I’m not 100% sold on this one yet, but I keep coming back to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. I would argue that Jamie Lannister isn’t really on the same level as Doctor Doom, but as far as looks go, I can see him in the role.
