I came across this reddit post a couple of weeks ago. While not sourced, the post is five months old and the person nailed the X-Men and Black Panther 3 release dates (May 5th, 2028 and December 15th, 2028 respectively). So I’ll drop the person’s thoughts and predictions here.
- Jessica Jones – allegedly teased by Kristen Ritter, estimated release March 2027.
- Wonder Man Season 2 – the posts author correctly cited that this had been announced by Marvel Studios, however it has since been officially cancelled.
- Champions – I’ve suspected this, though the evidence seems to lean more towards Young Avengers in my opinion (see a list of potential candidates in my VisionQuest post). Nexus Point News reported back in March of this year that Rachna Fruchbom was tapped to write the series for Marvel Television. It will allegedly combine elements of both the Young Avengers and the Champions. This makes sense if they’re trying to bring Miles Morales on board.
- Strange Academy – The reddit post author seems certain that this will eventually be a TV series. I think it would have to come sometime after Avengers: Secret Wars, given Doctor Strange’s involvement with Doctor Doom and the Multiverse Saga.
- Fantastic Four 2 – July 28th, 2028 (Date confirmed, title is suspected)
- Shang-Chi 2 – May 4th, 2029 (Date confirmed, title is suspected)
- Thor 5 – July 13th, 2029 (Date confirmed, title is suspected)
I screen shot the picture below from The Cosmic Wonder’s August 18th video. According to the video, this picture has been confirmed as an authentic leaked still. Though I can’t find any other corroboration on that.
Additionally I’ve seen a few suggestions that Steve Rogers is actually Loki. I don’t buy it. Any self-respecting comic nerd will tell you to look no further than this issue right here.
In Steve Rogers: Captain America #1, it’s revealed that Cap isn’t the real Steve Rogers. He’s a Steve Rogers from another timeline that was corrupted by Hydra. IBTimes UK reported the following image, which lends credence to my theory, but the authenticity of the image is still unconfirmed.
